9 am - 4pm
You’ll identify one real-life issue you want to work through and begin organizing it using the advanced skill of the Mentally STRONG Thought Map. This phase focuses on awareness, insight, honesty, and clarity.

We will take a break for lunch on our own. Then, through guided experiential activities, you’ll learn how to feel, process, and release emotional pressure rather than suppressing or avoiding it. This is where many people begin to feel grounded and able to breathe again.

You’ll organize what you’ve learned into a clear plan for moving forward, practicing intentional choices and applying the Mentally STRONG Method to real-life decision-making.

Cristi Bundukamara EdD PMHNP is the founder of Mentally STRONG and creator of the Mentally STRONG Method. She is a national speaker and has authored multiple books and workbooks. She has been a psychiatric nurse practitioner since 2000 and is retired from the US Navy.
While she holds numerous degrees, her real experience comes from her personal struggles. To manage these experiences, detailed in her documentary Strength in Vulnerability, she developed The Mentally STRONG Method, a simple and practical method to practice mental strength. It is an empowering approach, utilizing evidence-based research as a foundation to teach individuals how to be more resilient and mentally stronger. She is determined to turn her pain into purpose by empowering others to work through their personal struggles.
Is this a classroom-style training?
No. This is an immersive experience, not a slide presentation. You’ll actively work through one real-life issue using the Mentally STRONG Method through guided exercises, reflection, and small-group processes. Every event is personalized to the participants present.
Is this therapy?
No, this is not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment.
Mentally STRONG Reset – Live is an experiential personal growth event designed to help you organize your thinking, process challenges, and build practical mental strength skills.
Many participants find the experience deeply meaningful because it focuses on real-life issues, but it’s educational and skill-based, not clinical treatment.
What if I’m not in a major crisis — is this still for me?
Yes. This event is designed for capable adults who are functioning but feel mentally cluttered or stretched thin. You don’t need to be at a breaking point to benefit. Many people attend because they want clarity before things escalate.
Will I actually work on my own situation?
Yes. You’ll apply the Mentally STRONG Method to a real-life challenge during the event. This isn’t just listening, it’s guided application so you leave with clarity and a structured way forward.
Do I have to share personal details in front of the group?
While you’ll be in a small group environment (limited to 12 participants), sharing intimate details is always optional. You will have structured reflection time, and you control what you disclose.
5. I’ve read the book / taken a course — is this different?
Yes. Reading or watching provides insight. This live event provides immersion, structured application, and real-time guidance. The reset container accelerates clarity in ways self-study often doesn’t.
6. Why is the event limited to 12 people?
The small group size allows for focused guidance, a safe environment, and deeper application. This is intentionally designed to feel immersive and personalized, not like a large seminar.
If you’re currently in crisis or need mental health care, we encourage you to work with a licensed professional alongside any personal development work.

This is a great way to challenge negative thinking patterns in a comprehensive way which considers each person as unique.

The "Thought Map" was very helpful in connecting past and current events to our moods and choices today.

I learned that it is okay to take the time to work on yourself. I did not know that my childhood trauma triggered my need to be successful to prove my self worth.
